SEEKING FIRST WIN
After being shutout of the win column during the three-match Morgan State/Towson Invitational, Dartmouth will look to notch its first win this weekend at Leede Arena. The home court has been kind to the hosts at the Dartmouth Invitational - the Big Green are undefeated in their last two (2022 and 2021).

ARENT LOOKS TO MOVE INTO TOP FIVE
Fifth-year setter
Makenzie Arent has 1,665 career assists and needs 105 more to pass both Kayden Cook '16 (1,748) and Kendall Houston '12 (1,769) in the program's career assists list and become fifth in program history. Felicity Kolp '99 is Dartmouth's all-time leader with 4,347.
Â
ROBERTS PRIMED FOR ANOTHER IMPRESSIVE INVITATIONAL
Ava Roberts, a freshman at the time, went for a career-high 18 kills against Lehigh (Sept. 9) in last year's Dartmouth Invitational and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Through three matches in 2023, Roberts leads the team with 2.54 points per set and 2.25 kills per set. Her 14 kills in a four-set match against Morgan State stands as the highest single-match total for a Dartmouth player this season.
Â
FACING THE NATIONAL LEADER IN ACES
Hofstra currently leads Division I with 69 total aces through eight matches and 29 sets. The Pride have racked up double-digit aces on four different occasions, including 14 against NJIT (Aug. 26) in their second match of the season. Beatriz Alves leads the team with 16 total aces in addition to ranking third nationally in total assists (281).
Â
FAMILIAR FOE IN SETON HALL
Dartmouth was looking for its sixth straight win last season when squaring off with Seton Hall on Sept. 17, 2022. A win would've hiked the Big Green's record to 8-1, marking the team's best start through nine matches in program history. Instead, the Pirates came away with a four-set victory on their home court despite an efficient nine-kill (.333), three-block effort by
Bomi Ogunlari. Dartmouth got the better of Seton Hall with a 3-0 2018 triumph.
Â
GIBBS' EFFICIENCY CONTINUES
Amelia Gibbs owns two of the highest single-season hitting percentages in program history and looks to have picked up where she left off. The senior was held to six kills in the season opener against Temple, but did so on just 15 attacks. Gibbs is currently hitting .250 on the season, a team-high for anyone with more than five swings.
