FOUR-GAME HOME STAND
The Dartmouth men's hockey team begins a four-game home stand this weekend with conference matchups against Union and Rensselaer. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green returned to conference play this past weekend with a road trip down to Yale and Brown. The Bulldogs claimed a win in the matchup on Friday evening by a score of 5-0.

The Big Green then traveled to Providence for a matchup against the Bears on Saturday at Meehan Auditorium. Brown took the win, 2-1, in a close contest that came down to the final buzzer.
Eric Charpentier tallied his first collegiate goal in the game to cut into the deficit during the third period. A shot off the pipe from
John Fusco late in the period nearly tied the game.

RICHTER AWARD WATCH LIST
On Friday, sophomore goaltender
Cooper Black was named to the Mike Richter Award Watch List. The award is presented annually to the top goalie in men's NCAA Division I hockey since 2014. Of the 32 goaltenders named to the watch list, Black is one of five from ECAC Hockey.

Black currently has a .915 save percentage and a 2.55 goals against average.

SCOUTING UNION
Union comes into Friday's matchup with a 9-11-1 overall record and a 4-5-1 record in ECAC Hockey. The Garnet Chargers are coming off a five-point weekend after defeating Clarkson, 5-1, followed by a shootout victory against St. Lawrence.

John Prokop leads the team in scoring with 23 points (5-18-23) and his 18 assists are the most in the league this season and 11
th in Division I. Chaz Smedsrud is currently leading Union in goals with nine while Carter Korpi is second with eight.

Korpi has three short-handed goals this season, good for second nationally.
Â
Kyle Chauvette has started 20 games in goal this year. He has made 501 saves with a .901 save percentage and a 3.01 goals against average.

The Big Green are 28-35-7 all-time against the Garnet Chargers. The two teams split the series last season as they each won their home contest. Union took the win in Schenectady in November by a score of 4-1 while Dartmouth won the return matchup in February at Thompson, 1-0.

SCOUTING RENSSELAER
Rensselaer enters the weekend with a 7-13-1, 4-6-0 record and will play at Harvard on Friday evening. The Engineers had a split weekend their last time out, defeating St. Lawrence (6-3) and falling to Clarkson (4-1).

Austin Heidemann and Sutter Muzzatti are tied for the team-lead in points with 16 as both players have registered six goals and 10 assists thus far. Tyler Hotson has a team-high seven goals while Ryan Brushett is tied with Heidemann and Muzzatti for assists with 10.

Rensselaer has utilized three goaltenders this season in Brett Miller, Carson Cherepak and Jack Watson. They have combined to make 646 saves and a save percentage of .893.

The Big Green are 43-54-6 all-time against the Engineers. RPI has won the last four contests and claimed a 2-1 victory at the Houston Field House in early November along with a 3-1 win at Thompson in mid-February.

WHAT'S AHEAD
The home stand continues next weekend as Colgate and Cornell come to Thompson Arena. The Big Green take on the Raiders on Friday evening followed by a matchup against the Big Red on Saturday. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet. Tickets for both contests are available for purchase through the Dartmouth Athletics ticket office.
