NON-CONFERENCE FINALE
The Dartmouth men's hockey team closes out the non-conference portion of its schedule this weekend against twin-state rival Vermont at Thompson Arena on Saturday.
ANNUAL TOY DRIVE
The Big Green will be holding their annual toy drive this weekend during the game against the Catamounts. All proceeds from the event will be donated to youth at a local hospital.
LAST TIME OUT
Dartmouth hosted the 34
th Annual Ledyard Classic this past weekend. The Big Green defeated Lake Superior State on Friday evening, 4-0, to advance to the championship game.
Cooper Flinton,
Joey Musa,
Ryan Sorkin and
Steven Townley all lit the lamp while
Cooper Black posted a 21-save shutout.
With Maine defeating RIT in the first game on Friday, the Big Green took on the Black Bears in the championship on Saturday. The No. 8-ranked Black Bears claimed the victory by a score of 5-1. Flinton found the back of the net again, making it his third-straight game with a goal.
CJ Foley and Flinton were named to the All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the championship game.

th nationally in save percentage at .921.
Nikita Nikora leads the team with 12 points after scoring two goals along with 10 assists through the first 13 games.
The Big Green have scored eight power play goals this season while only allowing seven for a penalty kill percentage of .854.
Blocking shots has been key for Dartmouth, having blocked 164 shots this season.
Eric Charpentier leads the way with 21.
SCOUTING VERMONT
Vermont comes into Saturday's game with a 9-7-1 overall record and a 3-4-1 record in Hockey East. The Catamounts are currently riding a five-game winning streak, claiming victories over Union (4-1), LIU (3-2 OT, 5-1) and St. Thomas (5-1, 4-1).
Jérémie Bucheler leads the team in goals (6) and points (13) and is second in assists (7). Simon Jellus and Ryan Miotto have both found the back of the net five times this season. Will Zapernick has a team-high eight assists.
Gabe Carriere has started all 17 games between the pipes. He holds a .926 save percentage and a 2.17 goals against average.
The Big Green, 26-54-7 all-time against the Catamounts, are looking for their first win in the series since a 4-2 victory at Thompson Arena on Dec. 5, 2012.

Dartmouth returns to ECAC Hockey play next weekend on the road at Yale and Brown. The Big Green play the Bulldogs on Friday evening before a matchup with the Bears on Saturday.
