BOSTON — As the Big Green gear up for championship season, a limited number of athletes from the Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team were in action this weekend at the Boston Winter Open and the Northeastern Diving Invitational.
Yan Dvoretskiy, who earned a second-place finish on Friday, came away with multiple victories on Saturday. The sophomore was first in the 200 fly with a time of 1:48.42 and won a time trial in the 50 fly (22.12). He was also second in the 200 free at 1:39.48.
Tim Park earned a first-place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.48, and was victorious in a 100 fly time trial, along with a second-place mark in the 100 free (45.23).
Eddy Chen's top finish came in the 200 breast, where he was third with a time of 2:04.90.
At nearby Northeastern,
Everett Tai led the Big Green on both the 3-meter board (370.15) and the 1-meter board (332.30).
The Ivy League Championships begin Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Harvard.
