SAVANNAH, Ga. – Competing for the first time since October, the Dartmouth men's golf team played two rounds in The Savannah Intercollegiate on Saturday at the Club at Savannah Harbor.
Tyler Brand led the way for the Big Green, carding a 74-72—146 (+2), and currently sits in 22
nd place.
Dartmouth shot 27-over par (603) and are 12
th out of the 13-team field.
North Alabama is atop the leaderboard through the first two rounds, shooting 13-under par (287-276—563). Harvard is currently in second at 4-under par.
After shooting 2-over par in the first round, Brand shot even in the second round. On the back nine of the second round, Brand had two birdies to go along with six pars.
Cameron Keith finished just two strokes behind Brand on the day, shooting 73-75—148. Keith led the way for the Big Green in the first round, shooting 1-over par, but fell back in the second round after shooting 3-over par for the round.
Aaron Zhang carded a 78-73—151 for the day while
Fin Szafnauer shot an 80 in the first round followed by a 78 in the second round.
Iona's Sean Richards has a two-stroke lead going into the final round at 9-under par (65-70—105).
