HANOVER, N.H. – The Ivy League announced its indoor track All-Ivy awards on Tuesday afternoon, and five student-athletes from the Dartmouth men's track and field team were recognized.
David Appleton,
Liam Murray,
J'Voughnn Blake and
Albert Velikonja all earned second team All-Ivy for the distance medley relay (DMR) while Blake also garnered second team honors for the 800m race. Additionally,
Mason Childers was named Academic All-Ivy.
The group of Appleton, Murray, Blake and Velikonja finished second in the DMR with a time of 9:56.74, narrowly missing out on gold by 0.12 seconds.
Blake also finished second in the 800m race, finishing with a time of 1:49.11, earning silver and eight points in the overall standings for the Big Green.
Childers competed in both the 500m race and the 4x400m relay at the Ivy League Championships. He finished eighth in the 500m prelims, advancing to the finals on Sunday and tied his PR of 1:04.03, taking sixth.
