BIG GREEN PLAY FINAL HOME GAMES OF REGULAR SEASON
The Big Green return home after five straight road games and a dominant performance against Harvard to face ECAC Hockey and Ivy League opponents Yale and Brown for the final time this regular season. They will hope to continue their momentum from this past weekend and bounce back from losses to both teams in October.
LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, Dartmouth travelled to Harvard looking to right the ship following two disappointing losses to Cornell and Colgate. Both teams played an even first period as the game remained scoreless headed into the second period. Just over halfway into the period,
Izee Powell scored a power-play goal to give the Big Green the 1-0 lead and continue the team's strong special team's performance against the Crimson.
Cally Dixon would add the empty net insurance goal with 51 seconds left in the game to secure the 2-0 victory.
Hann Humphreys started in net for the Big Green, making 34 saves in the shutout. With the victory this past weekend and the 4-2 win earlier in the season, the Big Green completed the first season sweep of the Crimson since 2003-04.
SCOUTING YALE
The Bulldogs enter their matchup with the Big Green at 12-12-1 and 9-8-1 in ECAC Hockey play, coming off a 4-0 victory over Union.
