HANOVER, N.H. – The Big Green allowed three goals in the first period and were not able to make a dent in the Bulldogs' lead, ultimately falling to Yale 4-0 at Thompson Arena Friday.
With the loss, the Big Green fall to 6-18-2 overall and 3-14-2 against ECAC Hockey opponents, whereas Yale moves to 13-12-1 on the season and 10-8-1 in the conference.
The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard early, tallying their first goal only 2:50 into the game and capitalizing on a defensive breakdown by the Big Green, who left Yale's Elle Hartje alone in front of the net. Yale doubled its lead less than four minutes later, but the offense did not stop there. The Bulldogs added another goal just over ten minutes later to take a 3-0 lead into the first intermission.

Hann Humphreys made multiple high-quality stops throughout the period to keep the Big Green in the game. Through two periods, they tallied 29 saves.
Yale found itself on the powerplay with just over 10 minutes remaining in the period. Despite successfully killing the penalty, the Big Green had another defensive breakdown in front of the net, allowing the Bulldogs to add their fourth and final goal of the night.
Dartmouth had three power play opportunities, however cut one short in the second period when they committed a penalty of their own. Despite the three opportunities, they only tallied 19 shots on goal and were unable to find the back of the net.
The Big Green will face Brown in their final regular season game at Thompson Arena Saturday at 3 p.m. Following the game, Dartmouth's five seniors will be honored.
