HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's hockey team scored three unanswered goals to secure a 4-2 victory over the Union Garnet Chargers on Saturday evening in game two of the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals. With the win, the Big Green won the series to advance to the semifinals, scheduled to take place on Friday at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid.

Cam MacDonald each lit the lamp while
Sean Chisholm tallied three assists on the night.
Cooper Black made 24 saves, including 14 in the first period.
Dartmouth improves to 13-9-9 while Union ends the season at 16-18-3.
Facing a 2-1 deficit early in the second period, Fusco scored the game-tying goal midway through the middle frame. The Big Green quickly brought the puck up the ice and Dorfman passed the puck out to the blue line from along the boards behind the net. Fusco ripped a shot that went through traffic in front of net for his second goal in as many nights.
The Big Green took its first lead of the night late in the third period. Dartmouth forced a turnover in the offensive zone, after a Union skater passed a puck off of
Cooper Flinton. The puck fell into the path of Haymes, who made no mistake from close range, netting his 18
th goal of the season.
MacDonald tallied an empty net goal with under 40 seconds to go in the final period to seal the victory.
Union took an early lead on a power play goal from Caden Villegas, but Dorfman scored the equalizer late in the first after crashing the front of goal and getting his stick on the puck to redirect it into the net. The Garnet Chargers' second goal of the night, also from Villegas, came early in the second period.
The Big Green blocked 16 shots and had a 33-29 advantage in the faceoff circle.
Dartmouth will take on Cornell in the ECAC Hockey semifinals on Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid. The contest will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet and ticket information can be found on the ECAC Hockey website. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 at 5 p.m.
