LOS ANGELES — The Dartmouth women's tennis team dropped the doubles point and wasn't able to recover in singles on Wednesday at Loyola Marymount, dropping a 4-0 decision to snap a two-match winning streak.
Brooke Hess and
Caroline Lemcke were victorious at No. 2 doubles, but it wasn't enough to fend off the Lions, who went on to win the three singles matches necessary to climch.
Michela Moore and
Katie Weber both won sets over their opponents in singles, but their matches went unfinished as Loyola Marymount had already notched victories on Courts 1, 3 and 4.
The Big Green's California trip wraps up on Thursday with a trip to Long Beach State. The match will begin at 5 p.m. (2 p.m. PST)
