PRINCETON, N.J. — The Dartmouth women's rowing team began the Ivy Invite on Friday in a head-to-head matchup against both Rutgers and Columbia. In the end, the Big Green's second varsity four highlighted the day by beating Columbia and Princeton, with the third varsity eight beating Rutgers' 4V.
Even in defeats, the Big Green were very much within striking distance of the Lions and Scarlet Knights all day long.
Dartmouth posted a time of 7:33.139 in the second varsity four, only trailing Rutgers (7:22.905) while ahead of Columbia (7:38.375) and Princeton (7:41.263).
The Big Green finished the 3V in 7:03.357, behind the Scarlet Knights (6:51.295) and Lions (7:00.567) while ahead of Rutgers' 4V (7:04.131).
Dartmouth wraps up the Ivy Invite on Saturday against Penn and Cornell beginning at 12 p.m. on ESPN+.
