HANOVER, N.H. – On Tuesday, the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) awards committee announced the 2024 All-NEISA teams at the conclusion of the spring regular season. Five members of the Big Green open and women's teams were selected to this year's teams.

To choose All-NEISA sailors, the committee considers a variety of qualifications including the competitive record of each candidate. The record consists of individual results in Inter-conference competition, Inconference and Collegiate National Championships. The quantity and quality of the sailor's record is also taken into consideration.

Boyd Bragg, sophomore
Bella Casaretto, junior
Sarah Young, senior
Yumi Yoshiyasu, and sophomore
Phoebe Lee were each named to All-NEISA teams.

Bragg was named an All-NEISA First Team Open Skipper for the second straight year. He has helped the Big Green sail to success including multiple top five finishes. At the Marchiando Team Race, he helped the Big Green to a 13-5 record, good for a second-place overall finish.

Two weekends ago, Bragg started and helped Dartmouth to a third-place finish with a 12-7 record at the Thompson Trophy.

Casaretto was named All-NEISA Second Team Women's Skippers for her work on the water this season. She posted similar success to Bragg, helping the Big Green to top five finishes in most regattas. With her in the boat, the Big Green posted three third place finishes and two fourth place finishes.

At the Seahawk Women's Team Race, Casaretto and the Big Green posted a 15-6 overall record, good for a third place finish out of ten competitors. Casaretto also competed at the the NEISA Women's Team Race Championship, helping the Big Green to a fourth-place finish.

Joining Casaretto on the All-NEISA Second Team Women's Skippers is Young. Young competed alongside Casaretto at four regattas, posting three third-place finishes and one fourth-place finish. Her two most impressive outings were at the Seahawk Women's Team Race in which she helped the Big Green finish third out of ten racers with a 15-6 overall record, and at the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race in which the Big Green finished third of 11.

Yoshiyasu followed back-to-back NEISA Babineau Crew of the Year Watchlist naming with an All-NEISA First Team Open Crew selection. She also saw success this season, helping the Big Green to two fourth place finishes and a third-place finish.

At the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race, Yoshiyasu helped the Big Green to a 13-5 overall record and a second-place finish. At all the team races she competed in this season, Yoshiyasu helped the Big Green collect more wins than losses.

Lee was named to the All-NEISA First Team Women's Crew, her first postseason team selection. Like her teammates, Lee has been successful on the water helping the Big Green to top five finishes in all the team races she has competed in.

Lee helped the Big Green to three third-place overall finishes including a third of 10 finish with a 15-6 overall record at the Seahawk Women's Team Race. Lee also competed at the NEISA Women's Team Race Championship in which she helped the Big Green to a fourth-place finish.

Bragg, Casaretto, Yoshiyasu, and Lee along with their teammates will return to action this weekend, wrapping up the regular season at the Middlebury Little 3 regatta and opening national competition at the Open Team Race Nationals. Following the conclusion of the Open Nationals, the Women's Team Race Nationals will also take place.
