Jada Jones advances to two event finals

PRINCETON, N.J. – On the first day of the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Track and Field Championship, the Dartmouth women's track and field team sits in eighth place.

Hammer Throw
Kylee Bennett finished fourteenth with a mark of 49.17m (161-4).
Zoe Chafouleas finished eighteenth with a personal best of 45.01m (147-8).

Heptathlon
Olivia Jelsma currently sits in eighth place with 2475 points. Finishing eighth in the 100m hurdles (16.07) and shotput (8.23m). Jelsma also finished seventh in the high jump (1.50m) and sixth in the 200m (26.73).

Pole vault
Maya Grudman finished sixth hitting a personal best by clearing 3.87m (12-8 ¼).
Chloe Taylor finished ninth after jumping 3.72m (12-2 ½).
Ellison Weiner finished eleventh and hit a personal best clearing 3.57m (11-8 ½).

1500m prelim
Andie Murray finished sixth to advance to the finals with a personal best time of 4:24.68.
In tenth place, Bella Pietrasiewicz also advances to the finals running 4:26.58.
Sofia Abrego finishes twenty-third with a time of 4:47.68.

Long jump
Bridget McNally finished fifth (+2 pts.) with a mark of 6.05m (19-10 ¼).
Megan Judd finished fourteenth with a personal best of 5.64m (18-6).
Mariella Schweitzer finished seventeenth with a mark of 5.38m (17-8).
Perside Ebengo Yolou finished eighteenth with a mark of 5.36m (17-7).
Lauren Godwin finished twenty-first with a mark of 5.16m (16-11 ¼)

100m hurdles prelim
Mariella Schweitzer advances to the finals after finishing seventh with a time of 14.03.
Danielle Johnson placed eleventh with a personal best of 14.35.

400m prelim
Jada Jones advances to the finals after finishing third with a personal best of 54.51.

Discus throw
Julia Reglewski finished sixth (+1 pts) after throwing a season-best of 45.84m (150-5).
Autumn Clark finished twelfth with a mark of 39.88m (130-10).
Sarah Slowikowski finished fourteenth with a mark of 38.13m (125-1).
Cate Schelly finished fifteenth with a throw of 37.68m (123-7).

100m prelim
Joy Enaohwo advances to the finals running an 11.89.

800m prelim
Annie Jackson finished eighth advancing to the finals with a personal best of 2:09.04.
Julia Pye finished sixteenth and ran a personal best of 2:11.97.
