The Big Green comes off a championship season last year

HANOVER, N.H. – The Ivy League revealed the results of its football preseason poll today with Dartmouth expected to finish in fourth place.

Last year, the Big Green were selected to finish sixth but won their 21st title and shared the championship with Harvard and Yale. Dartmouth finished with a 6-4 record overall and a 5-2 mark in the league.

The 2022 Ivy League Champions, Yale, received six first-place votes and claimed the number one spot with 114 points. Garnering 108 points with seven first-place votes, Harvard came in second.Â

Penn claimed third with two first-place votes with 88 points. With one first-place vote, Princeton (80) and The Big Green are tied fourth (80), followed by Brown (56), Cornell (26) and Columbia (24) rounding out the poll.Â

The Big Green open the 2024 season on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Memorial Field against Fordham. Kick-off will be at 1 p.m and will be streamed on ESPN+.Â
