HANOVER, N.H.-- Koenig Family Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Hockey Reid Cashman announced the full 2024-25 men's hockey schedule on Tuesday. Dartmouth plays seven non-conference games along with 22 ECAC contests.
The Big Green opens the season with an ECAC road game at Harvard on Friday, Nov. 1 before taking the ice at Thompson Arena on Sunday, Nov. 3 against Stonehill. It will be the first time in program history that Dartmouth and Stonehill square off.
Following ECAC games against Quinnipiac (11/8), Princeton (11/9), Cornell (11/15), and Colgate (11/16), the Big Green travel to Boston to take on Boston College on Friday, Nov. 29.
Dartmouth opens December on the road against Vermont on Sunday, Dec. 1. Following the road game against Vermont, Dartmouth plays five straight home games starting on Friday, Dec. 6 against St. Lawrence. The Big Green host Clarkson the following day for their final ECAC game of 2024. On Friday, Dec. 13, New Hampshire travels to Hanover for the first time since 2021.
The 35th annual Ledyard Classic starts on Saturday, Dec. 28 with Dartmouth taking on Alaska-Anchorage. The Big Green close out 2024 against either Northeastern or Providence in the final game of the Ledyard Classic.
The Big Green open the 2025 calendar year on Sunday, Jan. 5 as they hit the road to take on Merrimack in their final non-conference game of the season.
Dartmouth returns to Thompson Arena for a pair of home games against Yale (1/10) and Brown(1/11) before hitting the road for four straight road games against Union (1/17), RPI (1/18), Colgate (1/24), and Cornell (1/25). The Big Green close out January with a home game against Quinnipiac on Friday, Jan. 31 before taking on Princeton on Saturday, Feb. 1.
February features home games against Harvard (2/7), RPI (2/21), and Union (2/22). The Big Green close out the regular season with road games at Brown (2/28) and Yale (3/1).
Dartmouth enters the 2024-25 season after appearing in the ECAC Semifinals in 2023-24 with a 13-10-9 record. The Big Green returns their top seven-point getters from 2023-24 including Luke Haymes who finished second in the ECAC in goals and fifth in points.
