Dartmouth had a 10-0 in the fourth quarter, but couldn't pull any closer than 11

PRINCETON, N.J. — The Dartmouth women's basketball team staged a 10-0 fourth-quarter run to pull within 11 with 4:43 still remaining, but Princeton responded with a 13-0 run to end the game, defeating the Big Green 63-39 on Saturday afternoon. The Big Green hung around for much of the game, also scoring the first five points of the third quarter to pull within eight, but the Tigers always had an answer.
The game featured a matchup of two of the three unbeaten teams in the Ivy League. Nina Minicozzi led Dartmouth offensively with 10 points, knocking down 4-of-9 from the floor, including 2-of-4 from 3-point range. Alexandra Eldredge added seven points on 3-of-5 shooting.
Defensively, Eldredge helped hold Princeton leading scorer Ashley Crea to seven points on 3-of-10 shooting. Skye Belker led the Tigers with 16 points.
After seven of its last eight games on the road, Dartmouth has a quick turnaround, returning home Monday to host Yale at 6 p.m.

FIRST QUARTER:
Victoria Page scored Dartmouth's first four points, which included a reverse layup to break the scoreless deadlock.
With the Big Green leading 4-2, Princeton staged a 12-0 run to open a 14-4 lead.
A short jumper from Cate MacDonald, and free throw from Zeynep Ozel, pulled Dartmouth within 14-7 after the first quarter.
SECOND QUARTER:
A few minutes into the second, Princeton opened an 11-point lead, but a Meena Tate 3-pointer and Eldredge jumper on consecutive possessions pulled the Big Green within 20-14 with 5:07 left in the quarter.
The Tigers responded by scoring 11 of the final 15 points of the half to take a 31-18 lead.
THIRD QUARTER:
Dartmouth held Princeton scoreless for the first 3:35 of the third quarter, during which time Minicozzi scored five points to pull the Big Green within eight at 31-23.
That's as close as Dartmouth would come, however, as Princeton opened a 14-point, 41-27 lead after three quarters of play.
FOURTH QUARTER:
Princeton scored nine of the first 11 points of the quarter to take a 50-29 lead after a Belker 3-pointer with 8:01 on the clock.
The Big Green wouldn't go away quietly, responding with a 10-0 run. Minicozzi began with five straight points before a Doreen Ariik layup and Eldredge 3-pointer made the score 50-39, forcing the Tigers to take a timeout.
Princeton answered in a big way, tallying 13 unanswered points to pull away for the 63-39 victory.
This one isn't over just yet! Eldredge three makes it a 10-0 run to get the Big Green back within 11 with 4:34 still remaining.
Minicozzi's 10 points marked a season high and marked her seventh-career game in double figures.
Dartmouth held Princeton below its scoring average of 67.1 entering the day, with its 64 points tied for its fourth fewest scored this season.
The Big Green finished with 11 steals, marking the fourth time this season they've reached double figures. Ozel led the way with three while Olivia Austin, Minicozzi and MacDonald each had two.
Dartmouth shot 32.7% from the floor (16-of-49), including 28.6% from 3-point range (4-of-14).
Princeton finished at 51.9% (28-of-54) and 37.5% from behind the arc (6-of-16).
The Tigers held a 38-24 edge in rebounds.
