BOSTON, Mass.—Dartmouth women's tennis improved to 3-0 on Saturday with a 6-1 win over Boston University.
Doubles
Michela Moore and Peyton Capuano played in first doubles for the Big Green. The duo improved to 3-0 on the season with a 6-2 win in their match.
Elizabeth Fahrmeier and Elise Wong were slotted in the second doubles position and clinched the doubles point for the Big with a 6-1 win in their match. The pair improves to 2-0 in the spring.
Brooke Hess and Sam Grosjean completed the doubles sweep with a 6-3 win in the third doubles position. The duo is now 3-0 when playing together this spring.
Singles
Capuano won her first singles match in straight sets. The opening set went to the tiebreaker with Capuano winning 7-6 (11). The second set saw Capuano win 6-4 to complete the sweep.
Moore also notched a straight set win over BU. She won the first set 6-4 and then completed the sweep with a 6-3 win in the second set.
Grosjean was slotted in the third singles position and used a pair of 6-4 set wins to complete the sweep.
Lauren Han played in the fifth singles position on Saturday and earned the win with a 6-1, 6-4 straight set win.
Caroline Lemcke played in the sixth singles position. She dominated the first set by winning 6-1 and then closed out the match with a 6-2 win in the second set.
The Big Green remain in Boston as they take on ACC foe Boston College on Sunday. The match is slated to start at 10 AM.
