Foley Earns ECAC Defender of the Week Honors

DANBURY, Conn.—ECAC Hockey announced its weekly awards on Monday. Dartmouth defensemen CJ Foley has been named Defender of the Week.
Foley was the top point getter for the Big Green this weekend as he tallied four points. On Friday night against Colgate the sophomore defensemen tallied a goal and an assist. Against Cornell on Saturday, the Hanover, Mass. native scored and added an assist on Saturday in a 6-1 Big Green over Cornell.
This season the reigning ECAC Rookie of the Year has scored seven goals and added 13 assists. He leads ECAC defensemen in points per game at 1.00 while also being tied for the lead in points among defensemen. He leads the ECAC in plus minus with a +17 rating this season.
The Big Green return to Thompson Arena this weekend as Quinnipiac and Princeton travel to Hanover. Dartmouth takes on Quinnipiac Friday, Jan. 31 at 7 PM before taking on Princeton on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 7 PM.
