LEWISTON, Maine –
Tommy Erwin won both his individual events and set a pool record as the Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team took down Bates College on Saturday afternoon, 132-73. Two additional performances set Tarbell Pool records for the Big Green in the meet.

"We had a great day at Bates today. It's always a fun meet to get back into the swing of competing after break, and we definitely came out swinging today. We had several pool records, a bunch of event wins, some personal and season bests today—definitely a good meet to have leading into the rest of Ivy League competition," said Captain

Tommy Erwin set a pool record in the 1000 free while also going a season best time, 9:30.75.
Jacob Turner also set a pool record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:52.15.

Xavier Orlic,
Reed Wallace, and
Ronan Fahey went 1-2-3 in the 500 free with Orlic swimming a 4:44.93, Wallace going for a 4:48.77 and Fahey recording a 4:49.14.

McCoy Lyman made his college diving debut this afternoon and recorded a score of 258.75 on the 3 meter.
Everett Tai's score of 339.30 on then 3 meter ranks him 10
th on Dartmouth's All-Time Top-10 performers list.

The Dartmouth women's swim and dive team is back in the pool when they travel to Yale on Friday, Jan. 10 and Saturday, Jan. 11 with the divers competing on Friday and the swimmers competing on Saturday.
