Women's Soccer Shuts Out UAlbany In Final Non-Conference Matchup
10/21/2025 10:22:00 PM | Women's Soccer
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The Dartmouth women's soccer team closed out its non-conference schedule on Tuesday night with a 3-0 win over UAlbany at the Tom and Mary Casey Stadium.
In the first 45 minutes, UAlbany faced nine shots from Dartmouth. It wasn't until the 42nd minute
that Audrey Marin and Stephanie Lathrop connected with Emmanuella Frimpomaa to put Dartmouth on the board with her first career goal.
Taylor Schram, the Stacy Branca '94 Head Coach of Women's Soccer, said there was an impressive stretch of minutes from Marin towards the end of the first 45, which she believes allowed the team to loosen up entering the second half.
"You saw some really strong performances, obviously another shutout from our backline and Ola," Schram said. "I thought our front six really came to life in the attack quite a bit. So it was a collective performance. We used every player that we pretty much could, and [I'm] just proud of the team."
The Big Green wasted no time in the second half, continuing their heavy defensive presence out of the gate. In the 54th minute, Lykke Ihrfelt found the back of the net with an unassisted goal to extend her team's lead. Less than a minute later, Stephanie Lathrop solidified the Big Green's victory when Abigail Reger connected with her for the final goal.
The Big Green will play their final road game of the regular season when they travel to New Haven, Conn., to face Yale on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
