HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's basketball team picked up its first win of the season and made some history on Tuesday in a 113-68 victory over UMaine Augusta.

The triple-digit score marked Dartmouth's fifth-highest scoring game in program history and tied for the third-most three-point field goals with 19.

Kareem Thomas led the team in points, scoring a career high of 24 through 24 minutes of play. Connor Amundsen followed behind with 14 points, along with Ben Brown and his 12 points.
Three first-year student athletes, Anton Strelnikov, Tyler Garrett and Cam Hiatt made their collegiate debuts and scored their first career points.

FIRST HALF:

UMaine Augusta struck first with a layup by Isaiah Searles, but Dartmouth quickly built a lead it wouldn't give up for the rest of the game.
A Connor Amundsen layup allowed the Big Green to go on a 20-5 run in the first six minutes of the game.
The Moose cut the deficit as low as 10 points at certain moments in the first 20 minutes, but the Big Green ended the first half with a 23-point lead.

SECOND HALF:

Jayden Williams wasted no time entering the final half, dunking in the first 10 seconds of play.
Anton Strelnikov's first career points allowed Dartmouth to take a 48-point (108-60) lead over UMaine Augusta, its largest lead of the season so far.
The Moose attempted to chip away at the deficit with two good free throws, but Stelnikov extended the lead with a free throw and layup.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Dartmouth scored 40 points in the paint, the most of its season through four games.
The Big Green shot 79.2% from the free-throw line, making 19 of 24 attempts.
Dartmouth's bench scored 52 points.
