JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Dartmouth men's basketball team picked up its first road victory of the season on Saturday, defeating St. Peter's 87-61 at Yanitelli Center.
This win marks Dartmouth's first 2-0 streak since it won back-to-back games against Columbia (78-55) and Cornell (88-49) on Feb. 14 and 15, 2025. The 87-point victory ties the Big Green and Peacocks' all-time record at 2-2.
Brandon Mitchell-Day had a team-high 23 points, his fourth game of the season with 10 or more points. Kareem Thomas followed behind with 18 points and three assists. Jayden Williams tabbed 15 points, while Jackson Munro scored 13. Additionally, Munro led the team in assists with five.

FIRST HALF:
St. Peter's put itself on the board first with a jumper from Bryce Eaton. The Peacocks extended their lead to five before the Big Green tied the game with free throws from Thomas and Williams, along with a layup from Mitchell-Day.
The lead changed four times before Dartmouth gained an eight-point lead that it wouldn't give up for the remainder of the game.
SECOND HALF:
The Peacocks attempted a comeback, opening the second half with a 4-5 run.
St. Peter's came within three points of the lead three times, but were unable to tie the game in the final 20 minutes.
Mitchell-Day, Cam Hiatt, Williams and Munro each contributed three-pointers in the last ten minutes of the game. Shanon Simango sealed the 87-61 win with a good free throw with 26 seconds left on the clock.

Dartmouth scored 28 points in the paint.
The Big Green shot a season-high 85.7% from the free-throw line, making 24 of 28 attempts.
Dartmouth had a 66.7 three-point percentage in the second half, making 8 of 12 attempts.
