HANOVER, N.H. - Check out all the Big Green teams in action this week!
Men's Hockey - Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29
No. 13/10 Dartmouth men's hockey opens a five game homestand this weekend with a pair of non-conference games against Vermont and Merrimack both of Hockey East. The Big Green are off to their best start since the 1957-58 season as they are 6-0-0 overall and 4-0-0 in ECAC play. Hayden Stavroff leads the Big Green with seven goals and two assists while Nikita Nikora has a team best six assists in six games. Roan Clarke and Emmett Croteau have split the cage as they have combined for a .945 save percentage and a 1.17 goals against average. Friday's game against Vermont will be broadcasted on NESN along with ESPN+. Saturday's matchup will be broadcasted on ESPN+. Faceoff against Vermont is set for 6 PM, fans are encouraged to wear green as Dartmouth looks to green out Thompson Arena. Saturday's game against Merrimack is set for 4 PM and will feature a postgame skate.
Women's Hockey – Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29
Dartmouth women's hockey will return to action this weekend, traveling to the State of Hockey for two games against the #13/ Minnesota State Mavericks. The Big Green are 1-2 all time against Mankato, dropping both of last year's matchups in Hanover, 4-0 and 3-2 in overtime. Dartmouth is coming off a 5-0 loss to the Yale Bulldogs two weekends ago, while the Mavericks earned a sweep of #2 Minnesota last weekend, earning a spot in the national polls. Puck drop on Friday, November 28 is set for 2 p.m. CT/3 p.m. ET while puck drop on Saturday, November 29 will be at 1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET. Following a 113-68 win over UMaine Augusta, the men's basketball team will travel to Jersey City, N.J., to face St. Peter's for the first time since 1996 on Saturday, November 29 at 2 p.m. The Big Green lost their last matchup with Peacocks 62-60 in New Jersey.
