Dartmouth Unveils 2024-25 Ivy League Championship Banner

HANOVER, N.H.—On Sunday afternoon ahead of the Dartmouth men's hockey home opener, the Big Green unveiled the 2024-25 Ivy League Championship banner.

The Big Green won the Ivy League Championship in 2024-25 for the first time since the 2006-07 season. It was the first outright title for Dartmouth since the 1979-80 season as the Big Green went 8-2-0 in Ivy League play a season ago including a perfect 5-0-0 in road Ivy games.

Following the season, the Big Green earned Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year while CJ Foley was named Ivy League Player of the Year. Cooper Flinton, Emmett Croteau, and Hayden Stavroff were named to the All-Ivy Second Team while Foley was named to the first team.

On Sunday, inside Thompson Arena, Haldeman Family Director of Athletics and Recreation, Mike Harrity and Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Operating Officer/Senior Woman Administrator, Kristine Fowler unveiled the banner ahead of faceoff.

The Big Green celebrated their new banner in grand fashion as they defeated the Yale Bulldogs 6-1 to improve to 2-0 for the second straight season.

Dartmouth is back on the ice on Friday, Nov. 7 as Colgate travels to Hanover for a 7 PM faceoff. The following day the Big Red of Cornell come to Thompson Arena as the Big Green and Big Red square off at 7 PM.
