WORCESTER, MASS. – For the first time in nearly 30 years, the Dartmouth men's basketball team defeated Holy Cross on the road, handing the Crusaders an 89-64 loss on Tuesday.
Kareem Thomas had his fifth 20-point game of the season, leading the Big Green with 24 points, and went 3-3 from beyond the arc. Jayden Williams tied his season high of 18 points, going 5-5 at the free throw line. Brandon Mitchell-Day led the team in rebounds and assists with seven apiece.
Tuesday's victory also marked the Big Green's first victory over the Crusaders since Nov. 27, 2001. Additionally, this is the Big Green's third-highest margin of victory on the road since the 2000-01 season.
