FAIRFIELD, CONN. – The Dartmouth men's basketball team fell to Sacred Heart on Friday afternoon, dropping an 85-63 game at the William H Pitt Athletic & Convocation Center.
The Big Green now sits at 5-6 on the season, while the Pioneers improve to 5-7. This game marks the fifth-ever matchup between the teams and puts Sacred Heart at 3-2 in all-time matchups against Dartmouth.

FIRST HALF:
Jayden Williams opened the game with a jumper, two minutes after tip-off. Sacred Heart quickly took the reins with three back-to-back jumpers in a little over a minute.
Sacred Heart took a lead it wouldn't surrender, holding as much as a ten-point lead over Dartmouth near the end of the half.
The Big Green came as close as three points from tying the game, but ended up going into halftime down nine.
SECOND HALF:
The Big Green came out of the half aggressively, with the team scoring four three-pointers in under five minutes of play.
With under 14 minutes to go, Dartmouth tied the game, thanks to a tip-in by Jackson Munro. Sacred Heart quickly reclaimed control and grew its lead, but Dartmouth trailed by just four points at times.
The Pioneers ran away with the lead, tacking on 20+ points of insurance. Despite their efforts, the Big Green fell to a 22-point deficit.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Dartmouth shot 63.6% from the free-throw line, making 14 of 22. It also shot 30% from beyond the arc.
The bench was responsible for 19 of Dartmouth's 63 points.
The Big Green scored 22 points in the paint.
