Big Green Close Regular Season With Sweep of No. 18 Colby

HANOVER, N.H. -The Dartmouth women's squash team closed out their regular season schedule by sweeping No. 18 Colby 9-0 at the Berry Squash Courts on Saturday afternoon.Â
Maria Clara Ramirez had the longest match of the day, battling at the first position for almost an hour. She bounced back from an early loss, winning the following two games before dropping another to Colby's Laavanya Kugan. Ramirez clinched the match with an 11-3 final game.Â
Chelsea Cho let the first game get away from her at the third position but struck back by sweeping the following three for her final home win. Aubrey Lennon won her first game at No. 7 before dropping the following to Colby's Amanda Miller. She rallied to win the final two games 11-7 and 11-4.Â
The rest of the Big Green's wins were 3-0 sweeps completed by Ellie Clifford, Maya Mansoor, Zayna Usman, Maya Shroff, Kriti Muthu, and Nathalie Taylor. Mary Wood swept Colby's MacKenzie O'Shea in an exhibition match. The Big Green will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. for the CSA Team Division A Championships beginning next Thursday, Mar. 6.
