The Dartmouth Track & Field team had a successful weekend in the Boston area, competing in the Crimson Invite at Harvard on Friday and then venturing across the Charles River for The Showdown at The Heights on Saturday.
"We had some outstanding performances this weekend at Harvard and at 'The Track.' Our speed/power student-athletes were impressive and set several new PR's on Friday. Our women's distance group competed well today at 'The Track' and came home with some solid marks. We continue to take advantage of some great opportunities. We look forward to competing next weekend at the BU Valentine Invitational. Go Big Green!" Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country Mike Nelson said.
The Big Green opened their third consecutive trip to Boston with three top ten performances. Adrien Jacobs put himself at No. 2 all-time in the 400m with his 48.08 finish. Bryce Thomas also moved up on the all-time list, now ranking second in the 60m with his 6.78 performance.
