LA JOLLA, Calif—Dartmouth women's tennis edged out a 4-3 win on Monday over UC San Diego to close out its California road trip.

Doubles

The team of Peyton Capuano and Michela Moore notched their 10^th win of the season in first doubles on Monday. The duo won 6-2 in the first match of the day.

Brooke Hess and Sam Grosjean gave Dartmouth the doubles point with a 6-4 win in third doubles. It was the duo's fifth doubles win of the season.

Elizabeth Fahrmeier and Elise Wong were tied at five in second doubles when the match was stopped.

Singles

Fahrmeier played fourth singles for the Big Green on Monday and picked up the first singles point. She won the first set 6-2 and secured her third win of the spring with a 6-4 win in the second set.

Lauren Han was the second member of the Big Green to pick up a singles point. She played in third singles and swept the first set 6-0 to take the lead. In the second set, she secured the win with a 7-5 win to improve to 7-3 in the spring.

Moore notched the fourth point of the match for Dartmouth in second singles to win the match. She won the opening set 6-3 and completed a 2-0 day with a 6-2 win in the second set.

Wong played in fifth singles on Monday and fell 6-4, 6-3. Valentina Cruz played sixth singles and fell 7-5, 6-3. Capuano was the final match of the evening to finish as she fell 6-3, 6-3.

Dartmouth returns to Hanover to take on Denver on Friday, Mar. 28 at 1 PM inside the Boss Tennis Center.
