Marilyn Beauvais and
Faby Serna have been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week and Player of the Week, respectfully, the conference announced on Wednesday. The awards mark Beauvais and Serna's first of the season.

Beauvais had a standout weekend going 7-10 at the plate for the Big Green in the team's 15 inning weekend sweep over Penn. Â She slugged 1.400 and had an on base percentage of .700 to match her .700 batting average for the weekend. She hit for the cycle over the three games, including four for seven extra base hits with two doubles, a triple, and a home run. She knocked in seven RBIs while reaching 14 total bases and scoring four runs. In the field, she was perfect with a 1.000 fielding percentage and 18 put outs.

Serna had a great showing for the Big Green this weekend in the sweep over Penn, including eight RBIs and a walk-off grand slam to end game one at the bottom of the 5th. She had a .600 batting average with a 1.200 slugging percentage and .600 on base percentage. She hit for the cycle over the weekend with a double, triple and the grand slam, scoring five runs and reaching 12 bases, including one stolen base. Serna was also perfect in the field at second base with two put outs and four assists over the weekend.

The Big Green return to action on Wednesday, April 16 when they play host to non-conference opponent UMass for a 4:00 p.m. first pitch.
