Tripp earns the honor for a second straight year
HANOVER, N.H. – Senior Ryan Tripp of the Dartmouth men's lightweight rowing team has been named an Academic All-Ivy honoree, as announced on Friday. An engineering major, Tripp has been a key member of the Big Green's varsity eight, sitting in the four seat on Sunday as the 1V finished fifth at Eastern Sprints.
The varsity eight also enjoyed wins over Yale and Columbia this season for the Durand Cup and Subin Cup. On Mar. 30, the Big Green also finished in a dead heat with Princeton.
Tripp and the Big Green return to the water next weekend at the IRA National Championship, beginning on Friday, May 30 in Camden, N.J.
