CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – On Monday, the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced its 2024-25 All-American Scholar team, recognizing five members of the Big Green.

To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative 3.50 or higher grade point average, be considered an amateur on the team's roster through the end of the season and play in 50% of scheduled rounds through the conference championship.

Caroline Chung, first-year
Olivia Cong, sophomore
Lauren Pham, junior
Sophie Thai, and sophomore
Alissa Xu were recognized by the WGCA.

In her sophomore season, Chung competed in seven of Dartmouth's eight tournaments. Her two best finishes of the season were both tenth place, coming at the Rutgers Invitational and the Ivy League Championship, the Big Green's top finisher. Chung shot a +7 with six birdies through three rounds at the conference championship, including a season best 68 (-4) in the middle round.

Cong shined in her first season with the Big Green, competing in all but one tournament. She started her season with a top twenty (15
th) and a top ten (6
th) finish at the Princeton Invitational and the Southern before putting up her best performance at the Columbia Classic. Cong shot a -3 with ten birdies, good for second place overall. At the next tournament, the More Than Golf Invitational, Cong sunk Dartmouth's only hole in one of the season, en route to a 15
th place individual finish.

Pham, a transfer student from Kansas, played in seven tournaments in her first year with the Big Green. At the More Than Golf Invitational, Pham shot one of only two Big Green eagles this season. Her best finish of the year was seventh overall at the Navy Invite, thanks to a +7 with three birdies in two rounds.

Thai continued to impress during her junior season with the Big Green. She started the season with back-to-back eleventh place finishes, shooting a -1 with eight birdies at the Golfweek Invitational and a +9 with eight birdies at the Princeton Invitational. Thai's best performance was a -2 with 14 birdies at the More Than Golf Invitational, the most by any Big Green player at one tournament, also helping her to 53 total birdies on the year, the team high.

Finally, Xu had a breakout sophomore season, golfing in seven total tournaments. Her best finish was ninth at The Southern, posting a +8 with ten birdies. Xu also finished in the top-15 at both the Rutgers Invitational (14
th place) and the Navy Invite (13
th place).
