HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams were given several All-Academic nods, as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday.
J'Voughnn Blake, Max Klein, Albert Velikonja, Jada Jones and Madeleine Locher were named USTFCCCA All-Academic athletes. Additionally, the men's and women's teams were each given All-Academic team distinctions.
To qualify for an individual All-Academic honor, student-athletes must have a 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale. They must have finished the indoor season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event, or in the top 48 in any championship relay event. Student-athletes could also satisfy the athletic criteria by participating in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
For a team to get an All-Academic nod, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the roster must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
