Big Green To Take On Five NCAA Tournament Teams
HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth field hockey head coach Mark Egner announced the teams 2025 schedule on Wednesday. The Big Green are slated for nine non-conference games and seven Ivy League matchups.
Dartmouth opens the season on the road against Bryant on Sept. 5 before opening the home slate against Maine on Friday Sept. 12 at 3 PM. Two days later, the Big Green welcome UMass to Chase Field.
The Big Green play four straight games on the road starting on Friday, Sept. 19 against Harvard. Dartmouth then travels to New Hampshire on Sunday, Sept. 21 to renew its rivalry with the Wildcats. The Big Green close out the road trip with a pair of games in Pennsylvania starting in Philadelphia against Penn on Friday, Sept. 26. On Sunday, Sept. 28 the Big Green close out the four straight road games against Lafayette.
Dartmouth returns to Chase Field for four straight home games starting on Oct. 3 against Columbia. The Big Green take on UMass Lowell on Oct. 5 before hosting Princeton on Oct. 11 for Homecoming. Dartmouth ends the homestand with a matchup against Holy Cross on Oct. 14.
The Big Green play four of their final five games on the road starting on Oct. 17 against Yale. Dartmouth then travels north to Burlington to take on Vermont on Oct. 19. The following weekend, the Big Green close out the road schedule against a pair of New York teams. Dartmouth takes on Conell on Oct. 24 before taking on Colgate on Oct. 26 to close out non-conference play.
On Nov. 1 the Big Green wrap up the regular season against Brown at Chase Field starting at 1 PM. Dartmouth will honor its senior class prior to the game.
The Big Green take on five teams that made the NCAA Tournament in 2024 while three of the teams made it to the quarterfinals.
On June 13, Egner announced six newcomers ahead of the 2025 season. Egner enters his fifth season on the sideline for the Big Green in 2025.
