BOSTON — The Dartmouth women's basketball team struggled against the Harvard press, finishing the game with 24 turnovers in falling 75-35 on Saturday afternoon inside Lavietes Pavilion. After scoring 12 first-half points, the Big Green responded in the third with 14, but could never get back into the game.
Alexandra Eldredge led the offense with 10 points, knocking down 2-of-3 from 3-point range.

Along with Eldredge's 10 points,
Zeynep Ozel added eight while
Olivia Lawlor had six points in making her second start of the season. She knocked down both field goal attempts of the afternoon.

With the loss, Dartmouth falls to 10-11 and 1-7 in the Ivy League. Harvard improves to 13-8 and 6-2 in conference play. Aubrey Shaw led a balanced Crimson attack with 15 points.

The Big Green did get to the free throw line early and often, finishing 12-of-17 compared to Harvard's 10-of-15 from the charity stripe.

FIRST QUARTER:
- Harvard jumped out to an 8-0 lead before a Lawlor free throw got the Big Green on the board with 3:13 on the clock.
- Two Nina Minicozzi free throws rounded out the first-quarter scoring, pulling Dartmouth within 14-3 after a quarter of play.
SECOND QUARTER:
- The Big Green hung around by getting to the free throw line as three Ozel free throws pulled them within 21-7 with 7:01 until halftime.
- However, Harvard answered with a 12-0 run to take a 33-7 advantage.
- Late in the quarter, Eldredge scored four straight Dartmouth points, behind two free throws and a long 2-pointer, to pull the Big Green within 34-11.
- Debra Hill added a free throw with 24 seconds remaining to make the score 34-12 at halftime.
THIRD QUARTER:
- The teams traded baskets early in the third.
- An Ozel 3-pointer moments before the shot clock expired made the score 40-19 midway through the quarter.
- The Crimson scored nine of the next 11 points to open a 49-21 lead.
- An Eldredge 3-pointer in the final seconds pulled Dartmouth within 52-26 heading to the fourth.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Eldredge hit another 3-pointer early in the fourth, but the Crimson built on their lead from there.
- In the final minute, Harvard's Ava Krumwiede connected on a jumper to give the Crimson their largest lead of the game at 75-35, which proved to be the final.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- For the game, the Big Green shot 29.4% from the floor (10-of-34), including 27.3% from 3-point range (3-of-11).
- Harvard finished at 40.3% (29-of-72) and 24.1% from behind the arc (7-of-29).
- Nine of Dartmouth's 10 made field goals came in the second half.
- The Crimson finished with a 44-27 edge in rebounds.
- Dartmouth had 24 turnovers, compared to just eight for Harvard.
- Eight of the 10 Big Green players who saw action scored at least one point.
