PRINCETON, N.J.—The Ivy League announced its major awards on Wednesday for men's hockey. Dartmouth's coaching staff has been named Coaching Staff of the Year for the second straight season.
The staff is led by Koenig Family Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Hockey, Reid Cashman, he is joined by Associate Head Coach Jason Tapp, Assistant Coaches Byron Pool and Brian Fahey, and Director of Hockey Operations Brian Corcoran.
In Ivy Play this season, the Big Green finished with a 5-3-2 record while going 4-0-1 at home. The Big Green outscored its opponents 37-27 in Ivy League play while outshooting them 101-77.
Overall this season, the Big Green are 19-7-4 and are ranked 12th in both national polls and 10th in NPI according to College Hockey News. Dartmouth starts the postseason on Friday, Mar. 13 in the first game of a best of three series against Colgate. Faceoff for game one is set for 7 PM, game two will be Saturday, Mar. 14 at 7 PM with a if necessary game scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 15 at 4 PM. Fans can click here for tickets.
