Foley Named ECAC Defender of the Week

DANSBURY, Conn.—ECAC Hockey announced its weekly awards on Monday for the ECAC Quarterfinal round. CJ Foley has been named the ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week following the Big Green's sweep against Colgate over the weekend.
Foley tallied three points in the two game weekend series with all three being assists. On Saturday he tallied the primary assist on the eventual game winning goal with less than a minute left in the second period. He then added an assist on the fourth Dartmouth goal as the Big Green secured a 4-1 win. On Saturday, he tallied the secondary assist on the first Dartmouth goal in a 4-1 win to sweep Colgate.
This season the junior has skated in all 32 games while tallying three goals and 19 assists. Last week he was named Second Team All-Ivy and Third Team All-ECAC.
The Big Green advanced to the ECAC Hockey Semifinals for the third straight season and will take on eight seed Clarkson on Friday, Mar. 16 at 4 PM.
