ST. PAUL, Minn.—The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Foundation announced the Top 10 nominees for the 2026 Hobey Baker Memorial Award. Dartmouth's Hayden Stavroff has been named to the top 10 list. He joins David Jones '07 as the only Big Green players to be named to the top 10.
The Hobey Baker Award is given to the top NCAA men's ice hockey player in the nation and is named for hockey legend and World War I veteran Hobey Baker. Fans are encouraged to vote for Stavroff by going to HobeyBaker.com, fan voting closes on Mar. 29. The Hobey Hat Trick will be announced on Apr. 2 with the three finalists. The winner of the 2026 Hobey Baker Memorial Trophy will be announced on Apr. 10 in Las Vegas at the NCAA Frozen Four.
Stavroff is having one of the best seasons in Dartmouth history as he leads the country in goals with 28 while also setting new career highs in assists and points. The sophomore has broken out in 2025-26 as he has seen an 18 goal improvement from last season while adding seven more assists and 25 more points.

He is the first Dartmouth player to tally five points in a game since 2017-18.
Though 63 career games, the sophomore has 38 career goals and 31 assists for 69 points. In two seasons he has 17 multi-point games including 13 in 2025-26.
