WORCESTER, Mass.—No. 8 Dartmouth men's hockey saw its historic season come to an end in the NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinal. The Big Green fell 5-1 to No. 12 Wisconsin in the Worcester Regional.

2:52 into the game the Badgers opened the scoring on the power play.

The Big Green evened the score at one at the 10:05 mark. Hank Cleaves backchecked and deflected a pass from the Wisconsin player. The puck came to the stick of Cam MacDonald, the senior sped through the neutral zone and into the Wisconsin zone. He then dropped the puck to Colin Grable who drew two defenders in before feeding H. Cleaves on the left wing. The sophomore took a low shot and beat the goalie far side for his 18^th goal of the season. Grable notched his 14^th assist while MacDonald picked up his 16^th assist of the season.

The game stayed tied for the remainder of the opening period.

In the second period there was just 11 combined shots with Wisconsin holding a 7-4 advantage.

The Big Green looked for the next goal, but it was the Badgers who took the lead at the 9:47 mark of the third period. Wisconsin added one more even strength goal at the 14:17 mark before a pair of empty net goals at the 16:18 and 17:53 marks.

Emmett Croteau made 23 saves including nine saves in the first period and seven in both the second and third periods. He finishes the season with a 15-5-4 record with a 1.93 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.

Brock Cummings finished with a team best 11 faceoff wins while Dartmouth won 25 as a team.

The Big Green blocked 11 shots with CJ Foley blocking a game high three.

Both Eric Charpentier and Foley skated in their 100^th career games on Thursday.

Dartmouth closes the 2025-26 season a program record 23 wins while winning the program's first ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship. The Big Green also took home multiple All-ECAC and All-Ivy honors including Hayden Stavroff being named ECAC Hockey Player of the Year and Koenig Family Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Hockey, Reid Cashman being named ECAC Hockey Tim Taylor Coach of the Year.
