Men's Squash Falls In Round of 16 At CSA National Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Dartmouth men's squash fell in the opening round of the CSA National Team Championship to No. 8 Princeton.

Callan Venkatesan played in the fifth position and had full control of his match. He won the first game 11-6 before taking a 2-0 lead with an 11-5 win in the second game. He closed out the match with a commanding 11-2 win in the third game.

Warren Klein picked up a win for the Big Green in the ninth position. He fell 11-7 in the opening game but responded with an 11-9 win in the second game. In the third game he notched a 12-10 win before winning the match with an 11-3 win in the fifth game.

Brandon Wang notched a five game win in the sixth position for the Big Green. He won the first game 11-9 before falling 11-2 and 11-5 in the second and third games. He forced a fifth game with an 11-8 win in the fourth game. In the fifth game took an 11-7 win to win the hour long match.

The Big Green are back on the court on Friday, Mar. 6 against Williams at 10:30 AM in the first consolation match.
