LAS VEGAS, Nev.—Friday evening, the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced its AHCA/CCM All American Teams. Dartmouth's Hayden Stavroff has been named a First Team All-American following his historic sophomore season.
Stavroff led the country in goals in 2025-26 as he scored a career high 29 goals in 35 games. He led the country in goals per game at 0.83 while also being sixth in the country in points per game at 1.37. The Columbus, Ohio native turned in 13 multi-point games including eight games in which he tallied three or more points. In the season opener against Stonehill he scored his first of two hat-tricks of the season. On Dec. 5 he scored his second hat-trick as he scored four goals against Brown. He is one of just six players in the country to have two or more hat-tricks this season.
In March he was awarded multiple awards and honors. Following the regular season, he was named Ivy League Player of the Year and All-Ivy First Team. On Mar. 18 he was named a Top 10 Finalist for the Hobey Baker Award joining David Jones '07 as the only Big Green players to be a top 10 finalist. The following day at the ECAC Hockey banquet he became the first Dartmouth player to be named ECAC Hockey Player of the Year. Stavroff was also named First Team All-ECAC. To close March, Stavroff was named the 74th winner of the Walter Brown Award, he is the first Big Green player to win the award. This week, Stavroff was named a New England All-Star by the New England Writers Association.
After posting 10 goals and 12 assists in 2024-25 as a first-year, Stavroff scored 29 goals while adding 19 assists this season. In 66 career games, he has scored 39 goals and tallied 31 assists.
Stavroff is the first Dartmouth player to be named All-American since Jones was named First Team All-American in 2007.
The 2025-26 season was an historic season for the Big Green as they set a new program record with 23 wins. Dartmouth won its first ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship while returning to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1980. 2026-27 season tickets are on sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
