DANBURY, Conn.—ECAC Hockey announced its monthly awards for March on Wednesday. Dartmouth's Tim Busconi and Emmett Croteau have each earned honors. Busconi was named Defender of the Month while Croteau was named MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month.
Busconi played in five games in March for the Big Green while tallying a goal and two assists. The goal was one of the biggest goals in Dartmouth history as he scored the overtime game winning goal against Princeton in the ECAC Championship game on Mar. 21. He notched his first assist of the month against Colgate in the second game of the ECAC Quarterfinals. He then added an assist against Clarkson in the ECAC Semifinals, he also was +3 against the Golden Knights. He closed the month with a +5 rating along with four blocked shots. He ended his sophomore year with a pair of goals, 10 assists and a +26 rating which was fourth in the ECAC and 10th in the country.
Croteau was nearly unbeatable in March for the Big Green as he had a 4-1-0 record with a 1.16 goals against average and a .953 save percentage. He started the month in ECAC Quarterfinals against Colgate. In game one he made 20 saves on 21 shots, the following night he closed out the sweep by making 23 saves on 24 shots. His best performance of the month came in the ECAC Semifinals in which he made 31 saves for his first career postseason shutout. In the ECAC Championship he made 25 saves in over 71 minutes of play. Against national runner up Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament, he made 23 saves for the Big Green. He finished the season with a 1.92 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.
The 2025-26 season was an historic season for the Big Green as they set a new program record with 23 wins.
