HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's soccer drew against University of New Hampshire, 0-0 in a non-conference matchup on Sunday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium.
This was the third draw in the all-time series between the Big Green and the Wildcats, as the last scoreless draw was in 2013 in Durham, New Hampshire.
In the first half, both the Big Green and the Wildcats knew it would be a competitive battle. New Hampshire had some chances on goal; however,
Ola Goebel and the Dartmouth defense prevented the Wildcats from scoring. Towards the end of the half, the Big Green created some chances on goal; but the Wildcats defended to keep the score even, going into halftime.
In the second half, the Big Green started with intense offensive pressure, with shots towards goal from
Nadia Young and
Stephanie Lathrop. Dartmouth looked to have some momentum on their side and then, later the Wildcats had a few opportunities towards goal, but both teams would hold each other scoreless for the remainder of the game. Goalkeeper
Ola Goebel recorded four saves against the Wildcats.
