SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Dartmouth men's soccer played the second of two straight road games on Tuesday, Sept. 15, against #24 Bryant. The hosts scored late in the first half, which proved to be the difference as the Bulldogs of Bryant secured a 1-0 victory over Dartmouth.

A back-and-forth battle ensued throughout the majority of the first half, as neither team was able to break the scoreless deadlock.

Bryant opened the scoring with a goal in the 36^th minute of play. A minute later, Dartmouth was on the offensive attack, looking to find the equalizer.

In the 37^th minute, Vasilis Moiras and Bo Robbins each created goal-scoring opportunities. Morias fired the first shot in the sequence, with Robbins taking the second, but the Bryant goalkeeper saved both attempts.

"This was a good test against a top Bryant team, and I felt we were able to learn a lot about our group tonight. Our second half response was positive, and we showed we are capable if we handle the necessary details to gain possession of the ball." Said, Connor Klekota, the Bobby Clark Head Coach of Men's Soccer. "These are the games I want Dartmouth Men's soccer to be in. I was proud of the group tonight and we now move onto training to prepare for another top matchup against Vermont."

Dartmouth outshot Bryant in the second half, four to one, with a flurry of attempts coming late in the contest for the Big Green. Eidur Baldvinsson and Eli Granda each had a shot saved in the 65^th and 74^th minutes, respectively.

From there, the Bulldogs were able to protect home field and remain unbeaten on the year.

Dartmouth had six total shots as a team, placing four of them on frame. Robbins led the offense with two total shots. TJ Jeffreys made three saves in goal.
