Dartmouth's record against the Great Danes moved to 5-2-1, and it still leads the all-time series at Burnham Field with a 4-1 record.
The Big Green came close to scoring several times in the second half of the match, tallying four shots to one by the UAlbany. Overall in the match, Dartmouth had seven shots to nine by the Great Danes.
In goal, TJ Jeffreys finished with four saves.
After a goal in the 34th minute, the Great Danes took a 1-0 advantage into halftime.
Dartmouth put pressure on UAlbany in the second half, with an Eli Granda shot sailing high in the 76th minute. Shortly after, in the 78th minute, Noah Sams fired a shot that hit the crossbar, before Granda had another scoring opportunity in the 79th minute that missed left. An Eidur Baldvinsson header in the 83rd minute was almost the equalizer for the Big Green but was saved by the Great Danes' goalkeeper.
Despite the Big Green's flurry of shots in the second half, the UAlbany held on for the 1-0 triumph.
