Ben Reasons accumulated seven varsity letters at Naperbille Central HS in Ill., including three in waterpolo and four in swimming. He was named captain to both his waterpolo team and swim team his senior year. As a freshman, Ben's team placed second in the State Championships; as a junior, he took 2nd place in the 400 Free Relay at the State Meet; and as a senior he placed 3rd in the State Championships in the 200 Medley Relax and the 100 Breast. Ben is an 8-time All-American, and he recieved this title as a sophomore, junior and senior. At Dartmouth, Reasons wants to go Pre-Med and take part in many outdoor activities.
Ben is the son of David and Deborah Reasons and he has two siblings. His father, David, ran track for Miami University of Ohio. His cousins Steven and Joe Schroeder also were college athletes; Steven played football for Furman, and Joe ran track at the University of South Carolina.
