Sophomore Year (2009)
Made appearances in 89 sets for the Big Green … Had 120 kills, averaging 1.35 a set … Recorded four service aces as well as 41 digs … Third on the team in blocking with 34 total blocks … Had best match of the season with 13 kills against Rhode Island … Also had double-digit kills against Brown with 10 … Recorded a career-high six blocks against Sacred Heart.
Freshman Year (2008)
Played in 48 sets, 20 matches … Had 36 kills, seven assists and 12 digs … Recorded 18 total blocks (two solo, 16 assisted) … Had a season-high seven kills in three matches, wins over St. Francis, Central Connecticut and Holy Cross … Racked up four total blocks against Holy Cross.
Before Dartmouth
Three-year letterwinner in volleyball at La Costa Canyon … Team was CIF San Diego Sectional champions in 2007 and 2008 … Helped team to a Palomar League Championship in 2006 and 2007 … Team was 95-15 in her three years … For two consecutive years she was third team All-League and was a member of the All-Academic team … As a junior she was given the CIF San Diego Section Sportsmanship award.
Off the Court
Named to the San Diego Union Tribune’s All-Academic First Team as a
senior … In her final year she was the leading blocker in San Diego
county with a total of 104 blocks … Mother was a professional
basketball player who played for New York and New Jersey of the Women’s
Professional Basketball League.
