Bio
Personal: Natalie Colaneri is the daughter of Michael Colaneri and Jackie Vitali, her grandfather, Jack Colaneri, was a professional jockey. At Dartmouth, Natalie plans to study biology and pursue a career in medicine.
Why Dartmouth?
I applied everywhere and never really found a college that clicked for me. I found myself at Dartmouth the summer before freshman fall and fell in love with it. It's definitely been such a great match for me in so many aspects.
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
Six years off-and-on; I've always loved horses.
Have you won any academic or equestrian awards recently?
Various ribbons at horse shows
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
My grandpa was a jockey. And I can bend my elbows, somewhat.
What are your future plans, if any?
Double major in Neuroscience/Government, and possibly medical school afterwards.
