Football
vs New Hampshire
Two-year starter at defensive end that is looking to take the next step toward becoming an All-Ivy player.
JUNIOR (2010)
Started the first eight games at defensive end before missing the final two games with an injury ... led the charge on a 14-yard sack in the victory versus Sacred Heart ... biggest play of the year may have been his block of a 26-yard field goal attempt in the fourth quarter at Penn, preserving the tie before Dartmouth fell in overtime ... batted away a fourth-down pass against Yale, but the play was scrapped due to off-setting penalties ... later recovered a fumble near midfield against the Bulldogs ... equaled his career best with five tackles versus Holy Cross, including a key sack in the red zone to help hold the Crusaders to a field goal ... two of those stops came in the fourth quarter with the Green clinging to a one-point lead ... dropped a Columbia running back for a three-yard loss in the win in New York ... got his pass break up against Harvard, swatting a potential touchdown toss in the red zone ... assisted on a stop on the Cornell’s first possession before exiting with his injury.
SOPHOMORE (2009)
Played in all but one game, starting five ... assisted on four tackles at sixth-ranked New Hampshire, one going for a six-yard loss, in his first career start ... also blocked an extra-point attempt against the Wildcats ... had a pair of tackles at Harvard, causing a fumble on one which was recovered by the Green ... came up with two stops versus Cornell, one being perhaps the most important of the game by thwarting a back on 2nd-and-1 with time in regulation winding down ... the Big Red were forced to go for a long field goal which was missed ... had a season-high five tackles at Brown, two going for a loss ... pounced on a Princeton fumble in the season finale.
FRESHMAN (2008)
Worked his way into time on defense, playing in the final four contests ... first tackle was a five-yard of Nathan Ford at Cornell ... assisted on a third-down stop versus Brown to force a punt.
HIGH SCHOOL
Recorded 50 tackles with seven sacks as a senior on a 4-6 team.
PERSONAL
Majoring in government ... son of Michael and Audrey ... born on February 7, 1990 ... a high school standout who attracted the attention of FBS schools despite playing on a team with a losing record ... chose Dartmouth over FCS scholarship offers.
