FCS All-New England Team ... All-Ivy First Team for second straight year ... Preseason Second-Team All-America offensive lineman as chosen by Lindy’s ... started nine of the 10 games, missing only the win at Brown with an ankle injury ... anchored a line that allowed just nine sacks, a total bested by just seven other teams ... cleared out opposing defenses to let Nick Schwieger rank second in the FCS in rushing average (131.0 ypg) ... also propelled the Big Green among the top 30 rushing offenses in the country and second in the Ivy League.
JUNIOR (2010)
Member of the All-Ivy First Team ... started all 10 games at left guard for the Big Green offense ... member of the front five that yielded just seven sacks all
season, the fourth fewest allowed in all of the FCS ... also contributed to the protection that allowed Conner
Kempe to throw for 1,647 yards, the 15th most in a single season in Dartmouth history ... helped pave the way for Schwieger who became just the fourth Big Green back to rush for 1,000 yards in a season and finished sixth nationally in rushing yards per game.
SOPHOMORE (2009)
Earned the starting role at left guard halfway through the season ... started each of the final six contests ... two of those starts were the two Dartmouth victories versus Columbia and Cornell ... helped create holes in both those games to allow teammates Nick Schwieger and Greg Patton to break the Big Green single-game rushing record.
FRESHMAN (2008)
Named the offensive scout team player of the year for the Big Green … spent the season playing for the junior varsity squad.
HIGH SCHOOL
An all-conference performer in the Catholic League … one of the bigger defensemen you’ll ever see as a skater for the Marist hockey team … earned two letters in football and one in ice hockey.
PERSONAL
Majoring in engineering ... son of John and Constance … born on May 8, 1990 ... started playing hockey at age six … had recruiting interest from Illinois, Indiana and Harvard.
